Today, May 20, 2018 is a day worth remembering. Today, we put our love in action and visited a local apartment complex to interact with our neighbors. Today we decided to add a tool to our witnessing basket and not just invite folk to our church, but we brought church to them. We got a grill going with hot dogs, got some games with prizes, got our tennis shoes on, and met the people where they were. As I sat in the shade of a tree on the grounds, and looked around at the smiling faces of the residents, I thought, "this is how we do witnessing." Jesus met folk where they were and took time to just be friendly. This is what Miracle is striving to do--to BE the church, not just attend one. This is how we love others to Christ--with hotdogs, games, and tennis shoes.
